With over 20yrs experience in the marine brokering industry MW Marine is a leading industry specialist when it comes to marketing, selling and matching new boat owners to the perfect marine vessel to compliment their lifestyle.
MW Marine was formed in 2010 by Matthew Willett. After 10 years working in sales for a leading Australian manufacturer Matthew went out on his own with a vision to create a boutique brokerage maintaining a level of customer service that would be sustainable and consistent for the future. Having spent most of the previous 10 years at D’Albora Marinas in Mosman, MW Marine eventually moved back to that location and was privileged to be appointed as NSW agents for the Jeanneau and Prestige range. With considerable success over the coming years MW Marine expanded to employ an in house shipwright, administration and sales team that regularly sells and delivers over 30 new Jeanneau’s per year making them one of the larger dealers in the Asia Pacific region.
In 2018 Matthew sold a half share in the business to his sales manager, Matthew Millington with the primary purpose to bring a re invigorated approach and to re engage the top end market through taking on the Maritimo Sydney agency whilst still maintaining the Jeanneau product. When one looks at the offering of MW Marine they have a new product available from 15 to 75ft catering for just about any style and budget that the market has. M1 and M2 as they have been referred to strive to maintain that same consistent level of customer service that Matthew did when he started whilst overseeing a steady growth and dominant market position for the product they sell.

The water has been a huge part of Matthews life, from family boating trips, to serving in the Navy as a Navigator, commercial skippering and 20 years in the leisure marine industry, it is fair to say that Matthew speaks from a priceless perspective when dealing with clients at MW Marine.
As a founding partner in the business, Matthew’s goal has always been to remain personable to his client base and offer a positive experience to his customers. He is a strong believer in the power of experience and few in the industry could offer such a broad knowledge base across all facets of sales, service and boating in general.
With a desire to grow the business Matthew teamed up as a business partner with Matthew Millington and now takes on more of a customer and service related role within the business structure. He loves catching up with past clients and helping people turn their dreams into reality, a feeling of satisfaction that never fades.
As an avid marine and water enthusiast that’s only matched by his drive to improve customer experience, Matthew is at the forefront of the sales team at MW Marine.
He understands that a healthy blend of passion and professional respect is where the best business occurs, and is particularly focused on improving outcomes for clients, whether they’re looking to buy, sell or simply wanting more information.
Matthew grew up on the harbour with his family’s Marine business at Northbridge and trained for a year in the Navy as an officer, but he was drawn back to the industry again. Have worked on Superyachts and managed large defence boat projects, Matthew’s diverse experience and drive for success has led him to join us at MW Marine as a part owner ensuring he also has a vested interest in your good experience with this business.
